Welcome to HBL
Several years ago many of us left the institutional "church" at the calling of a living God. Throughout all of our years in religion, we had never known Him, yet He desired to know us. He has shown us what it is to live by His Spirit and to follow His Son.
In calling this site the name, His Body Life, it must be remembered that it is only a name. It means nothing in itself. It is not a new denomination or brand of church.
The old site was built by Dave Venema and the new site was built by Anna Dunster and is being maintained by Carol, Anna, Dave, and anyone else who has the admin access. It is not updated very often, but once in a while one of us gets the time to make some additions.
If you have a problem or can't find something on the new site that you remember from the old site, you can still access the old site here. The old site will not be updated anymore. Our goal is to eventually copy all the data over from the old site as well as any relevant posts and information from old emails or logs that we can find.
The following links are also found on the floating menu to the left. However, not everyone has JavaScript, and I wanted to be sure that anyone can find their way around the site even without it. If you can't see the menu to the left, it's highly recommended you upgrade to be able to use JavaScript as it makes browsing a lot easier. Also note that some programs such as Popup Cop will kill the left hand menu.
